Shooting in Pretoria: 11 people killed
Armed attack occurred in Saulsville district near Pretoria city of South Africa. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to police information, early Saturday morning, three unknown armed individuals stormed into a hostel where a group of people had gathered and started shooting at those around. As a result of this shooting, at least 11 people were killed, and it was reported that among the victims was a three-year-old child.

It was found that the place where the incident occurred was an illegal establishment. Police representatives emphasized that mass shootings frequently occur in such illegal places.

During the attack, out of 25 people who were drinking in the hostel, 14 sustained injuries of varying degrees. In recent years, crime rates in South Africa have significantly increased.

According to official statistics, the country is considered one of the states with the highest murder rates in the world. Just this year, the police have closed more than 12,000 illegal alcohol sales points and arrested over 18,000 individuals.

So far, it is unknown who organized this attack. The police continue investigations to search for suspects and determine the causes of the incident.

At the same time, local residents are urged to be vigilant and avoid places involved in illegal activities.
