Interest of Uzbeks in Turkey increased by 16.3 percent
The interest of Uzbek citizens in Turkey is steadily increasing. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to official data, more than 230 thousand Uzbeks visited Turkey for various purposes from January to October 2025. This figure has increased by 16.3 percent compared to the same period last year, indicating that Turkey remains one of the most popular destinations for Uzbeks.

According to the National Statistics Committee, the main purposes of Uzbeks visiting Turkey are distributed as follows: 172.4 thousand people traveled for leisure and tourism, 51.3 thousand went to visit relatives and close ones, 2.3 thousand visited for education purposes, 3.3 thousand citizens chose Turkey for medical treatment, and 1.6 thousand traveled on business trips. Experts believe that Turkey’s high-quality services, convenient logistics, rich historical and cultural environment, as well as budget-friendly tour packages make this destination even more attractive for Uzbek tourists.

In particular, demand for cities such as Antalya, Istanbul, and Izmir remains high throughout the year. Thus, Turkey is strengthening its position as one of the most chosen countries by Uzbeks not only for leisure but also for studying, medical treatment, and business trips.
