
The case of domestic violence that occurred in the Chuy region of Kyrgyzstan has once again drawn public attention to this issue. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to information provided by the regional internal affairs department, a 47-year-old woman died as a result of violence inflicted by her husband. The incident was discovered on December 4 in the village of Blijniy Orol in the Sokuluk district.
When the investigation team arrived at the scene following a report, the body of a woman born in 1978 was found. There were numerous injuries, bruises, and signs of trauma on her body.
The deceased's body was sent for forensic examination, which determined that her death was caused by closed head injury, brain concussion, and scalp damage. During the investigation, it was revealed that the woman had been beaten by her husband one day prior.
The man was under the influence of alcohol. A criminal case was initiated under Article 130 of the Criminal Code (causing grievous bodily harm) regarding this matter.
The man, born in 1969 and the deceased's husband, was detained and temporarily placed in custody. The investigation is currently ongoing.
It is worth noting that domestic violence remains a pressing issue in the region. Experts emphasize the necessity of increasing public legal awareness, strengthening the fight against violence, and implementing protective measures to prevent such incidents.
