Russian and Chinese aircraft alarm Japan
The Japanese Ministry of Defense announced that Russian and Chinese military aircraft flew jointly near the country. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the report, two Russian bombers met with two Chinese bombers and conducted a long-distance joint flight. This flight passed between the Okinawa and Miyako islands.
To monitor these actions, Japan scrambled its fighter jets. Additionally, it was noted that three other Russian military aircraft were also detected near Japanese territory.
The Japanese Defense Minister described this flight as pressure and a show of force against the country. He emphasized that all necessary measures have been taken to ensure air safety.
Furthermore, South Korea also announced that several aircraft belonging to Russia and China passed near its territory on the same day. According to experts, the attention of the two countries to such joint flights is increasing concerns in the region.
