The list of countries with the fastest growth in living standards over the past 25 years has been announced. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
During this period, prosperity has significantly increased especially in Asian and Eastern European countries. According to the International Monetary Fund data, China recorded the highest result in this regard.
In 2000, the gross domestic product (GDP) per capita was 4,050 dollars, and by 2025 this figure reached 25,035 dollars, increasing by 518 percent. Additionally, Vietnam and Bangladesh also demonstrated high economic growth rates.
India stood out with a 235 percent growth. The growth in this country is mainly associated with economic liberalization and the development of the services sector.
These countries play an important role in the growth of the global economy. Russia ranked 14th, with GDP per capita increasing by 109 percent.
However, the growth rate in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has slowed down. This situation is mainly related to a sharp increase in population, which has led to a slight weakening of economic indicators.
At the same time, other countries also show stable economic development.
