The incident occurred on September 25. The missing exhibits are related to the history of the British Empire and the Commonwealth, and they hold great cultural significance.
Among the stolen items are jewelry, military memorabilia, as well as carved figurines made of ivory, bronze, and silver. Museum staff discovered the loss of the exhibits the day after the incident.
On December 11, the police released photos of four suspects and asked the public for assistance regarding the case. This crime has raised important questions about the museum's security measures.
