As a result of Russia's latest missile and drone attacks on Ukraine, more than one million households in the country were left without electricity. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The attacks were mainly targeted at power grids and critical infrastructure facilities, causing power outages in several regions and seriously affecting the daily lives of the population. According to officials, the Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kirovohrad, and Chernihiv regions suffered the most damage from the attacks.
Fires broke out in some areas, resulting in at least five people being injured. Special services are currently working to restore power supply and eliminate the damage.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized that hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles were used in the attack. The Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant was also temporarily without electricity, but the supply was later restored.
Officials stated that the plant is currently in a safe condition. Meanwhile, international negotiations to end the war continue.
However, disagreements between the parties have not yet been resolved, and the situation remains tense.
