Cambodia Temporarily Closes Border with Thailand
The Cambodian government has temporarily closed all border crossing points with Thailand. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This decision was made amid ongoing military clashes between the two countries. Officials stated that this measure was taken to ensure security at the border.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump announced that the parties had agreed to cease fire. However, fighting continued on Saturday as well.

Thai officials announced that four of their military personnel were killed. The Cambodian side did not provide exact information about the number of casualties.

Both sides accuse each other of conducting airstrikes and rocket attacks. The Cambodian Ministry of Defense stated that Thai military aircraft struck certain buildings and bridges.

Thailand reported that civilians were injured as a result of rocket attacks organized by Cambodia. Due to the conflict, at least 700,000 people have been evacuated from border areas to safe locations.

This conflict between Cambodia and Thailand is related to long-standing border disputes. Although the parties have previously reached ceasefire agreements, mutual trust has not been restored.

Therefore, the situation remains tense.
