The Israeli army announced that it has eliminated senior Hamas commander Rad Said in the Gaza Strip. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to Israeli media reports, Said was known as the person who planned the attacks against Israel on October 7, 2023. According to information provided by health organizations in Gaza, four people were killed and at least 25 were injured as a result of these attacks.
Hamas has not officially confirmed the death of Rad Said. The Israeli army stated that a senior commander was targeted during the operation, but did not disclose his name.
If Rad Said has indeed been eliminated, this would be the highest-ranking Hamas leader killed since the ceasefire reached in October. It is reported that Rad Said previously led a Hamas battalion in Gaza, headed the group's weapons manufacturing unit, and served as one of the second-tier commanders of the armed wing.
