
Investigation into the death of the famous Turkish singer Gul Tut is ongoing with new information. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The singer's daughter, Tugyan Ulkem Gulter, has been arrested on charges related to her mother's death. This was reported by Turkey's "Akdeniz Gercek" publication.
According to initial information, the artist known by the pseudonym Gullu fell from the balcony of her house in the Chinarjik district of Yalova province for unknown reasons and died. During the investigation, Sultan Nur oglu, a friend who was in the room that day along with Gulter, was also questioned.
During the investigation conducted by the prosecutor's office, Tugyan Ulkem Gulter was formally charged with "intentional homicide" and officially arrested. Sultan Nur oglu was placed under house arrest.
Three other individuals previously detained in connection with the incident were released after questioning by the prosecutor's office. Gulter, who was taken to the hospital for a medical examination, was quickly brought to the courthouse due to the presence of people protesting in the building.
Citizens gathered in front of the Yalova courthouse chanted slogans against her address, expressing their protest. It is recalled that singer Gul Tut fell from the terrace of a six-story building on September 26 and died.
Her funeral ceremony was held in Istanbul.
