
Severe incidents occurred in Kazakhstan due to extreme cold weather. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
In the West Kazakhstan region, three men died from hypothermia as the temperature dropped significantly below normal. According to official sources, these individuals froze due to the intense cold.
It was impossible to rescue them before medical assistance arrived. In this regard, the responsible authorities are urging the public to be cautious during cold days, wear warm clothing, and avoid staying outdoors for long periods.
Adverse weather conditions also caused difficulties in the capital city, Astana. Starting from 14:00 on December 15, all types of vehicle traffic on the roads leading out of the city were temporarily suspended.
Officials announced that the roads will reopen once the weather improves. The public is requested to strictly follow safety rules.
