
In December, KazTransOil company restored oil transit to Uzbekistan and increased the volume of oil delivered to Kyrgyzstan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The amount of oil delivered to Uzbekistan is expected to reach up to 35 thousand tons. Oil delivery to Kyrgyzstan was restored in November of this year.
The last oil delivery along this route was carried out in 2017. The company plans to deliver up to 30 thousand tons of oil to Kyrgyzstan by the end of 2025.
The total delivery volume for both routes amounts to 65 thousand tons. Of this, 55 thousand tons will be transported in December.
The oil is transported through KazTransOil's main pipelines to the Shagyr oil transshipment point. From there, it is loaded onto railway tank cars.
According to the National Statistics Committee, in the first ten months of 2025, the import of oil and oil products into the country decreased by 1.7 percent, amounting to 1.63 billion dollars.
