Russia's major automobile manufacturer AvtoVAZ has announced its readiness to supply Lada cars for the taxi service planned to be launched by Wildberries. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The company's press service informed the TASS agency about this. It is known that Wildberries plans to start a taxi service in the Russian market from 2026.
Currently, this service operates in Uzbekistan, serving customers. AvtoVAZ representatives positively assessed Wildberries' plan to enter the taxi market and stated their readiness to supply the service with locally produced Lada cars if necessary.
In their opinion, such cooperation will help increase the share of the national brand in the Russian domestic market. Experts emphasize that the entry of a new participant into the taxi market will intensify competition.
This could lead to price transparency, improved service quality, and the creation of comfortable conditions for passengers. In conclusion, Wildberries' entry into the taxi service and the potential cooperation with AvtoVAZ indicate the beginning of significant changes in the Russian taxi market.
This process will contribute to the development of the market and the provision of higher quality services for customers.
