Tajikistan expressed dissatisfaction over the child who died in Russia

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan issued an official statement regarding the tragic incident that occurred in the Russian Federation. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the statement, on December 16, 2025, in the village of Gorki-2, Odintsovo urban district of Moscow region, a 10-year-old Tajik citizen, Qobiljon Aliyev, became a victim of an attack based on ethnic hatred. The child was a 4th-grade student at Uspenskaya general education school and died at the scene as a result of the attack.
This incident was strongly condemned by Tajikistan. In this regard, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Russia to Tajikistan, Semyon Grigorev, was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan and was handed an official note of protest.
The note demanded an immediate and impartial investigation of the crime and strict prosecution of the perpetrators in accordance with the law. Additionally, the Embassy of Tajikistan in Russia announced that it is keeping the investigation process of this criminal case under constant supervision.
An official appeal was also sent to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan expressed deep condolences to the family and relatives of the deceased child and emphasized that ensuring the rights and safety of its citizens living abroad is a priority in state policy.
The Ministry expressed hope that the competent authorities of the Russian Federation will conduct a full, transparent, and fair investigation of this incident.
