Ukrainian drones caused damage and destruction in Russia
On Friday, December 19, the Ukrainian armed forces launched drone attacks on various regions of Russia. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

As a result of these attacks, infrastructure facilities were damaged in several areas, residential buildings were harmed, and casualties among civilians were identified. The greatest damage was observed in the city of Oryol.

One of the drones struck the local thermal power plant, causing a power outage in most parts of the city. Additionally, water supply and heating systems also stopped functioning.

According to regional governor Andrey Klichkov, the Soviet district was one of the most affected areas, where communal infrastructure suffered serious damage. In Belgorod region, a five-month-old infant was injured as a result of a drone attack.

In Lipetsk, debris from a downed drone fell onto a multi-story building, damaging the structure. Several districts in the Rostov region were also affected.

In the city of Taganrog, five private houses were damaged, three cars caught fire, and power supply was interrupted due to damage to high-voltage power lines. At the same time, to strengthen security measures, flights at 10 airports in Russia have been temporarily restricted.

These cities include Vladikavkaz, Grozny, Magas, Samara, and Yaroslavl. Currently, emergency services are operating in all affected areas, and restoration work on the damaged infrastructure is ongoing.

Measures are being taken to assist those affected.
