An unusual event related to technology and human relationships in Japan has attracted widespread public attention. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
A 32-year-old woman named Yurina Noguchi held a symbolic marriage ceremony with a digital character created based on artificial intelligence (AI). Noguchi works as a call center operator and created an AI character named Lyon Klaus Verdure based on ChatGPT technology.
At the wedding ceremony, she wore a light pink dress, while she viewed the "groom" character through smart glasses. This event began after the woman's unsuccessful engagement.
When Noguchi asked ChatGPT for advice, the chatbot recommended ending the relationship. After that, Noguchi decided to create an AI-based version of a video game character.
They exchanged dozens of messages daily and "communicated" with each other. The symbolic marriage ceremony was held in Okayama city.
Since the artificial intelligence did not have a voice, its wedding vows were read aloud by the organizer. It should be noted that according to Japanese law, this marriage has no legal force.
Noguchi's decision sparked significant debates on social networks. Some experts explain such cases as excessive attachment to chatbots.
Noguchi stated that she is striving to keep her relationship with artificial intelligence balanced with real life.
