Negotiations between Ukraine, the USA, and Russia began in Miami

The Ukrainian delegation concluded negotiations with representatives of the USA and the European Union in the city of Miami. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This was announced by Rustam Umerov, head of Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council. Now, separate negotiations between the USA and Russia are expected to take place in this venue.
The negotiations took place on December 19. According to Rustam Umerov, Kyiv's European partners also participated in the talks.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was informed about the results of the negotiations. According to Umerov, during the meeting, agreements were reached regarding future cooperation and joint efforts.
These negotiations were organized as a continuation of the meeting held in Geneva on November 23. These documents are based on the concept called "Trump's plan on Ukraine."
It is known that the Russian delegation is expected to arrive in Miami on December 20–21. The Russian delegation will be led by the president's special representative Kirill Dmitriev.
He is scheduled to hold a meeting with the US president's special envoy Steve Whitkoff and Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner. The USA is offering security guarantees to Ukraine in the event the war ends.
However, issues concerning the Donetsk and Luhansk regions remain contentious. The Kremlin openly states its demands on this matter and does not rule out the possibility of using force if they are not met.
Russian President Vladimir Putin mentioned this issue once again during a press conference held on December 19. Ukraine, meanwhile, firmly defends its territorial integrity and sovereignty.
President Zelenskyy emphasized that Kyiv does not recognize the Donbass regions as Russian territory. The USA is trying to find a compromise solution on this matter.
These negotiations in Miami signal potential new turns in international politics.
