The US launched a major attack against the ISIS group in Syria

US military forces carried out a major military operation against the Islamic State group in Syria. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This attack was conducted in response to an attack against US forces in the city of Palmyra. During the operation, more than 70 targets were struck with the help of military aircraft and helicopters.

As a result of the attack, two American soldiers and one civilian translator were killed. Three other soldiers were injured.

The US side announced that several Islamic State members were eliminated during the attack. The Jordanian air forces also participated in the operation.

The main goal was to ensure security in the region and prevent the activities of armed groups. The Islamic State group has not yet issued an official statement regarding this incident.

US officials emphasized that this attack does not mark the beginning of a war. According to them, US forces will continue measures to protect their soldiers and partners in the region.
