SpaceX founder and Tesla CEO Elon Musk has set a historic record as the first person whose wealth has exceeded 700 billion dollars. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This was announced by the prestigious Forbes publication. This financial achievement was formalized as a result of an important decision issued by the Delaware state court.
According to the court's latest ruling, the options on Tesla shares, which were previously ruled by a lower court as not belonging to Elon Musk, have been reaffirmed as Musk's assets. Currently, the value of these shares amounts to 139 billion dollars.
As a result, Musk's total wealth has reached 749 billion dollars. Interestingly, just five days ago, on December 15, Musk's wealth had exceeded 600 billion dollars.
Previously, in October 2023, Elon Musk also made history as the first person whose wealth surpassed 500 billion dollars. The rapid growth of these figures shows how quickly Musk's assets are appreciating.
According to data, Elon Musk was named the richest person in the world by Forbes in 2021, surpassing Amazon founder Jeff Bezos. At that time, his wealth was estimated at 271.3 billion dollars.
In the following years, this figure gradually increased: reaching 300 billion dollars in November 2021, and 400 billion dollars in December 2024. Forbes analysts predict that if the current trend continues, Musk could become the world's first trillionaire by 2033.
In conclusion, Elon Musk is leaving his mark not only in technology and space but also in financial history. His name is certain to remain one of the most important global topics for many years to come.
