The wealth of Tesla CEO Elon Musk significantly increased on Friday following a decision by the Delaware Supreme Court. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The court reinstated Musk's $56 billion compensation package approved in 2018 but canceled two years ago. As a result of this decision, Musk's total wealth reached $749 billion.
The Delaware Supreme Court stated that the previous ruling was unfair to Musk. Additionally, during this week, Musk's wealth exceeded $600 billion for the first time.
This situation confirmed him once again as the richest person in the world. In November, Tesla shareholders approved a $1 trillion compensation plan for Musk.
This is the largest compensation package in the company's history, with investors fully supporting Musk's strategies for Tesla's development. Currently, Musk's wealth exceeds that of Google co-founder Larry Page by approximately $500 billion.
According to Forbes' billionaire list, Musk continues to lead as the richest person in the world.
