
An explosion occurred in the car driven by Lieutenant General Fanil Sarvarov in the south of Moscow city. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The incident happened in the morning as the car was leaving the parking lot. As a result of the explosion, Lieutenant General Sarvarov sustained severe injuries and died at the scene.
It is reported that there are video recordings related to the incident. The Russian Investigative Committee is conducting an investigation to determine the causes of the explosion.
During this process, evidence is being collected, witnesses are being questioned, and security camera footage is being reviewed. It has been announced that the possible involvement of Ukrainian special services is also being considered during the investigation.
Ukrainian officials have not commented on the incident. In recent years, several high-ranking military officers and state officials in Moscow and its surroundings have died as a result of car explosions.
Among these incidents are attacks targeting senior officials of the Russian army, leaders of the Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Defense Troops, as well as relatives of nationalist leaders. Currently, Russian authorities are examining all the details of the incident.
