Russia's oil exports have reached the highest level in the last two years. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to Bloomberg agency data, due to delays in unloading oil from tankers, crude oil reserves are directly accumulating on the ships. As of December 21, Russia's average daily oil export volume over the past four weeks was 3.87 million barrels.
This figure is the highest recorded since May 2023. Additionally, the volume of oil stored on tankers en route has significantly increased since August.
According to the data, this volume has increased by 48 percent, reaching 185 million barrels. The agency emphasized that at least 20 tankers loaded with Russian oil are currently waiting for permission to enter ports in China and India.
This situation indicates that congestion in the global oil transportation system has intensified.
