Three people are under external arrest in the General Kirillov case
New decisions have been announced regarding the criminal case related to the death of Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The Basmanny Court in Moscow stated that it has decided to place Uzbek nationals Saidakbar G‘ulomov and Mirjalol Odilov under external arrest in connection with this case. The court also made a similar decision regarding Ukrainian Andrey Gedzik.

All of them have been put on the international wanted list, and their current whereabouts are unknown. According to investigation data, four more individuals are suspected in the case related to General Kirillov's death.

Among them is Uzbek national Ahmad Qurbonov. Russian law enforcement agencies identify Qurbonov as the person who carried out the terrorist act that caused the general's death.

During the investigation, Qurbonov testified that he was hired by Ukrainian special services. According to him, in exchange for committing this crime, he was promised $100,000 and assistance in entering the European Union.

The investigation also revealed that before the crime, Ahmad Qurbonov lived in Kazan and worked at a teahouse in Moscow. It has been reported that Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov died at the end of 2024 as a result of an explosion of an improvised explosive device.

At the time of the incident, his assistant Ilya Polikarpov also lost his life. This criminal case has taken on an international dimension, involving citizens of several countries, which complicates it further.

In the next phase of the investigation, the main question remains when and where the suspects will be apprehended.
