On the occasion of Christmas, Pope Leo XIV sent large humanitarian aid to the people of Ukraine suffering from the war. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Through three trucks, 100,000 servings of ready-made soup were delivered to the country. The soup contains meat and vegetables and is intended for people living in difficult conditions due to the war.
According to information provided by the Vatican, this food aid is distributed to people living near the front lines who are in difficult situations. This was stated by the Vatican representative, Polish Cardinal Konrad Krajewski, in his statement.
The Cardinal emphasized that through this initiative, the Pope aimed to show spiritual solidarity with those who are suffering. The aid was delivered to areas where electricity, drinking water, and heating systems have been cut off and which are frequently shelled.
This charitable act has become of great importance for people affected by the war.
