Dubai chocolate sold record in Duty Free stores
In 2025, one of the most purchased products in Dubai's Duty Free stores was Dubai chocolate. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Throughout the year, travelers bought 719 tons of this sweet treat. Dubai chocolate attracted tourists not only with its delicious taste but also with its uniqueness.

In particular, the Patchi Pistachio Kunafa Bar chocolate bar and products from the Habibe Chocolate brand were in high demand among buyers. Confectionery products generated a total sales revenue of 845.486 million dirhams (approximately 231.6 million dollars).

This accounted for 9.74 percent of Dubai Duty Free’s annual revenue. These figures indicate that Dubai Duty Free achieved a record sales volume of 8.68 billion dirhams (2.3 billion dollars).

Dubai chocolate is mainly made from a mixture of pistachios and kadaif and is produced in the United Arab Emirates. Although the product started being manufactured in 2021, it quickly became a favorite souvenir among travelers.

Additionally, the popularity of this chocolate increased on social media, especially on the TikTok platform. By 2023, the first TikTok video about the chocolate had been viewed over 120 million times.
