Denmark and Greenland have intensified negotiations with the United States

According to the Associated Press, Denmark and Greenland have intensified their diplomatic activities in Washington. Their goal is to persuade American lawmakers and senior officials in the Trump administration to withdraw the US claims against Greenland.
It was reported that Denmark's ambassador to the US, Jesper Møller Sørensen, and Greenland's chief representative in Washington, Jakob Isbosetsen, engaged in talks with representatives of the White House National Security Council. This information was conveyed to the Associated Press by Danish officials on the condition of anonymity.
Additionally, it is said that representatives of Denmark and Greenland held a series of meetings with some members of the US Congress. The White House refused to comment on these meetings.
At the same time, it was noted that next week US Secretary of State Marco Rubio is scheduled to hold separate negotiations with Danish officials regarding the Greenland issue. In conclusion, the dispute surrounding Greenland is now becoming an important topic not only in the media but also in significant discussions within the corridors of the White House.
