490 people died in the Iran protests

Protests that began following price increases continue in several regions of Iran. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to Reuters agency, at least 490 protesters and 48 security personnel have died as a result of these disturbances that have lasted for two weeks. It is also reported that more than 10,000 people have been detained.

US President Donald Trump emphasized that if the use of force against protesters continues, the US may intervene. According to sources, Washington is considering various measures.
Among them are cyberattacks, strengthening economic sanctions, and the possibility of precise military strikes. Trump also stated that he is discussing with Elon Musk the launch of the Starlink satellite network to restore internet access in Iran.
Meanwhile, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf spoke about possible retaliatory strikes against the US and its allies. He mentioned US military bases, ships, and Israeli territory as targets.
Iranian officials claim that the US and Israel are behind the protests and unrest. At the same time, the Iranian government has called on the population to participate in rallies against Western "seditions."
