Trump announced his support for Iranian protests

US President Donald Trump expressed his opinion on the protests in Iran. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
He called on Iranians to continue the demonstrations and emphasized that aid would arrive soon. Trump also announced that meetings with Iranian officials had been suspended due to ongoing casualties among protesters.
The protests began on December 28 due to the devaluation of the national currency and later continued with political demands. According to official data, approximately two thousand people have died, although this figure has not been clearly explained.
The international community also responded to the situation. Russia condemned the US military threats, while the German Chancellor predicted the imminent collapse of the Iranian government.
Iranian officials rejected these criticisms and criticized Germany. Trump also announced the imposition of 25% tariffs on products imported from countries trading with Iran.
At the same time, reports are emerging that the Iranian government is restricting internet and telephone communications, and some protesters are being detained.
