Trump announced the establishment of a "Peace Council" for Gaza

Former US President Donald Trump announced the establishment of a "Peace Council" aimed at rebuilding the Gaza Strip and ensuring peace in the region. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
He shared this information on the Truth Social platform. So far, no specific details about the council members have been provided, but they are expected to be announced soon.
According to Trump, this initiative will be an unprecedentedly prestigious and powerful project. This announcement came as the US moves into the second phase of its plan to end the war in Gaza.
The second phase mainly involves discussions on demilitarizing the area, establishing technocratic governance, and rebuilding Gaza. Previously, during the first phase, reports indicated that agreements had been reached on ceasefire and the exchange of hostages and prisoners.
The most complex part of the plan remains the issue of HAMAS. The US demands the disarmament of this group and the destruction of its military infrastructure.
Otherwise, serious consequences have been warned. At the same time, there are reports that HAMAS is trying to restore its losses, which is causing Israel to consider new military operations.
For now, key questions remain unanswered: who will make up the council, how will demilitarization be implemented, and how will funding and security guarantees for the reconstruction process be ensured? If the parties reach an agreement on clear mechanisms, Gaza could take a step toward systematic recovery from the ruins.
However, it is clear that this process will not be easy.
