Greenland Issue: Europe United Against Trump's Threat

US President Donald Trump expressed his desire to purchase Greenland and stated that if there is resistance on this matter, tariffs could be imposed on European countries. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This statement was sharply criticized by European countries. Regarding the independence of Greenland and Denmark, European countries united and decided to protect these territories.
At Denmark's initiative, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, and other countries sent military aid to Greenland. In response, Trump announced that tariffs could be imposed on eight European countries.
European leaders emphasized that this threat is unacceptable and decided to hold a meeting to work together. Greenland's Minister Naaja Natanielsen stated that it is important to act with dignity and courage in this situation and expressed their readiness to continue cooperation.
Denmark's Foreign Minister plans to visit Oslo, London, and Stockholm in the coming days to discuss the need to strengthen cooperation among NATO countries in the Arctic region. Scandinavian countries also supported Denmark's position, emphasizing that Greenland should remain part of Denmark.
