Military tension in Greenland: Denmark and the US conflict is escalating

Tensions are rising in the Arctic region. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Greenland has become not only a field of diplomatic disputes but also military actions. Denmark is mobilizing its military forces to Greenland.
Recently, it was reported that Danish soldiers have arrived in the Nuuk and Kangerlussuaq areas. At the same time, Denmark announced that the Arctic Command has begun large-scale military exercises.
According to unofficial information, at least 200 Danish military personnel have been deployed in Greenland. These exercises are planned to continue until 2026.
Germany, Norway, Sweden, and the United Kingdom are also joining Denmark's actions. These countries are sending their military forces to Greenland to assist Denmark.
In particular, German intelligence services are actively participating in maritime surveillance. The interview given by Rasmus Jarlov, head of the Danish parliamentary defense committee, to CNN caused a major stir.
He strongly opposed the possibility of the USA forcibly seizing Greenland and emphasized that Denmark is ready to offer armed resistance to defend its territory. Jarlov also noted that such actions by the USA would lead to economic and political crises.
Meanwhile, the USA has sent aircraft to the Pituffik military base in Greenland through the North American Aerospace Defense Command. Washington interprets this move as a planned event and states that it has been coordinated with Denmark.
European countries have also begun active measures regarding the Greenland issue. Defense ministers of Denmark and Greenland held talks with NATO and proposed establishing a special mission in the Arctic region.
At the same time, European Union leaders have planned to hold an emergency meeting on Greenland. European officials also remind that Greenland is under NATO's collective defense system.
However, it is still unclear whether this tension between the USA and Denmark will lead to armed conflict or remain only as political pressure.
