The court verdict on the general's death in Russia has been announced

On December 17, 2024, in Moscow, General Igor Kirillov, commander of the Radiation, Chemical, and Biological Defense Troops of the Russian Armed Forces, and his adjutant Ilya Polikarpov were killed. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This incident caused a great uproar in Russian society. According to the court ruling, Ahmadjon Qurbonov, a citizen of Uzbekistan, was found guilty of committing the murder and was sentenced to life imprisonment.
According to the investigation, he committed the crime under the instructions of Ukrainian special services. Qurbonov left a pre-mined scooter in front of the entrance of a residential building.
It was revealed that for carrying out the crime, he was promised a reward of 100,000 US dollars and the opportunity to obtain a visa to the European Union. Three other individuals involved in planning and organizing the crime were also identified.
The court found them guilty and sentenced them to imprisonment ranging from 18 to 25 years. The court made a strict decision on this case and imposed legal punishment on the perpetrators.
