The most unusual names announced in Moscow in 2025
The most unusual names given to babies born in Moscow in 2025 have been announced. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to RIA Novosti, Svetlana Ukhaneva, head of the capital's Civil Registry Office, stated that the most unusual names for boys were Grach and Frol, while for girls, Luchezar and Olimpiada were considered the most unusual.

Additionally, names such as Okeana, Iskra, Tor, and Mars were also included in the list. Observations show that parents in Moscow paid special attention to choosing unique and unusual names for their children.

It is possible that they were inspired by foreign cultures, including the Kardashian family. Also noted were names that are not very unusual but rarely encountered.

For example, for boys, the names Prokhor, Korney, Trofim, Yenisey, and Yemelyan were chosen, and for girls, Marusya, Emiliya, Lira, and Yeniseya. Most of these names seem to be inspired by ancient Russian folklore and culture.

This list clearly reflects parents' desire to choose distinctive names for their children.
