Russia increased workers from India and Bangladesh
The Russian government issued a record number of work permits to citizens of India and Bangladesh in 2025. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to official data, this figure represents the highest result in the past nine years. Experts predict that by 2030, the labor shortage in Russia could exceed 3 million people.

This situation is significantly increasing the demand for labor migration. In particular, in 2025, 56.5 thousand Indian citizens were offered work opportunities in Russia.

For comparison, this figure was 36.2 thousand in 2024. Additionally, the number of labor migrants coming from Bangladesh has also increased significantly.

While this number was 2.8 thousand in 2024, it reached 9.3 thousand this year. It is reported that the figures for migrants coming from India and Bangladesh have reached their highest level in the past nine years.

This indicates a growing demand in the labor market in Russia.
