Traffic Accident in Samsun: Former Badminton Player Passed Away

Umut Jan Turan, a former member of the Turkish national badminton team, passed away as a result of a traffic accident in Samsun, Turkey. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Umut Jan Turan, who was driving the motorcycle, was taken to the hospital with severe injuries, but doctors were unable to save his life. The deceased had previously been active as a member of the Turkish national badminton team.

In recent years, he worked as a courier. Investigation into the incident is ongoing.

The driver of the truck involved in the accident, Azerbaijani citizen Nodir S., was detained by investigative authorities, and the detailed causes of the incident are being determined.
