Japan is running out of pandas: Xiao Xiao and Lei Lei are returning to China

In Ueno Zoo in Tokyo, the crowds have been large in recent days. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Thousands of visitors are coming to the zoo to say goodbye to the last pandas remaining in Japan — Syao-Syao and Ley-Ley. It has been announced that these twin pandas will be returned to their homeland — China on January 27.
Since the opportunity to see the animals up close is limited, a special lottery system has been introduced at the zoo. However, in recent days, up to 4,800 visitors per day have managed to see the pandas.
Some guests, although unable to see the pandas directly, emphasize that they came to feel the farewell atmosphere. Syao-Syao and Ley-Ley were born in 2021 and entered history as the first panda twins born in Ueno Zoo.
With their return to China, Japan will be left without any pandas in its zoos for the first time since 1972. This event is attracting significant attention and interest in the country.
