Putin was said not to have invited Zelensky to Moscow

According to Dmitry Peskov, the Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin did not invite Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy to Moscow on any initiative. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to Peskov, the issue of a meeting was initially raised by Ukraine. In response to this proposal, Vladimir Putin expressed his readiness to hold negotiations but suggested Moscow as the meeting place.
The Kremlin representative specifically emphasized that the initiative in this matter came from Zelenskiy himself. Additionally, there is information from open sources that earlier the Ukrainian side proposed considering other locations outside Moscow.
However, Russia remains firm in its position, considering Moscow as the preferred location for negotiations. Agreements and opinions on this matter are still under discussion.
