Lost 11 healthy teeth due to cheap service
In Genoa, Italy, it came to public attention that dentists unjustifiably removed 11 healthy teeth from a patient. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

As a result of this incident, the doctors were held accountable by the court. This was reported by the "Corriere della Sera" publication.

This event once again demonstrated the negative consequences of seeking cheap services. It turned out that a 55-year-old woman found dentists offering cheap services online and contacted them.

The doctors told her that all procedures could be completed in one day and showed her the dentures. However, they did not perform an X-ray examination, which is one of the important steps.

Moreover, one of them rushed the woman, emphasizing that if the procedure was not done, she could completely lose her teeth. As a result, within just four hours, 11 of the woman's healthy teeth were removed.

Three days later, dentures were installed, but they differed from what was promised and were found to be temporary. Due to the process, the woman faced serious problems: she became unable to speak, had difficulty eating, and her quality of life declined.

This situation also negatively affected her personal life — she became ashamed of her dental problems and broke up with her boyfriend. Although another dentist later performed surgery, it was found that the woman still could not chew food properly.

According to the court ruling, one of the dentists who unjustifiably removed the 11 teeth was sentenced to three months, and the other to one year and five months in prison. Additionally, compensation of 14,300 euros was paid to the victim.

This case once again reminded the necessity of being cautious when choosing dental services.
