Trump: A new deal with Iran is necessary!

US President Donald Trump emphasized on January 31 the necessity of reaching a new and satisfactory deal with Iran. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to him, the main condition of such an agreement is to ensure that Iran does not possess nuclear weapons. Trump expressed these views while answering journalists' questions aboard Air Force One during his flight to Florida.
The White House chief confirmed that talks with Iran are ongoing and described them as “serious negotiations.” However, he did not provide clear information about the US's specific plan in this regard.
Trump stressed that the decision will be made based on the outcome of the negotiations. He expressed an approach of “if there is a deal — good, if not — we will see later.”
Trump also stated that he might not fully inform his Middle Eastern allies in advance about the possible action plan on security issues. In his opinion, revealing the plan could undermine its effectiveness.
At the same time, reports have spread that the US has deployed additional military forces to the region. In particular, it is said that a strike group led by the aircraft carrier “Abraham Lincoln” has been sent near the Iranian coasts.
This has heightened concerns about potential clashes in the region. Iran, in turn, warned that retaliatory strikes could be carried out against US and its allies' facilities, including bases and ships belonging to Israel.
Trump expressed his belief that Iran is more willing to reach an agreement on nuclear and missile programs than to go to war. Follow "ONE.UZ" news on "Telegram"
