Zelenskiy: Territorial issues will only be resolved at the highest level

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy openly stated the main condition for resolving territorial issues with Russia: it is difficult to reach a serious agreement on this matter without direct dialogue with Vladimir Putin. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
He emphasized this in an interview with Český rozhlas radio. According to Zelenskiy, Ukraine is ready for negotiations in various formats.
Both Russia and the United States can participate in this process. However, the issue of determining the fate of the territories still requires dialogue at the highest political level.
Zelenskiy also responded to rumors about a "territorial exchange." He noted that he heard this idea from some politicians, but Donald Trump did not propose such an offer.
The current situation is complicated: demands and opposing positions are sharp. For example, according to Reuters sources, Russia has demanded that Ukrainian forces withdraw from certain eastern territories.
However, Kyiv has taken a firm stance on this issue and has repeatedly emphasized that it will not give up the territories. ABC News has also reported on this.
The main question today is whether a real opportunity for direct dialogue will open or if the negotiations will remain in a complicated phase. According to Zelenskiy, the territorial issue is so complex that it can only be resolved through dialogue at the level of heads of state.
