Armed incident occurred at a school in Ufa

It was reported that an armed incident occurred at City Gymnasium No. 16 located in Ufa, Russia. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to initial information, a ninth-grade student entered the educational institution with a plastic pneumatic weapon and a firecracker, and during the lesson, fired at a teacher and three classmates. Additionally, a sound resembling an explosion was also noted.

The incident took place around 11:00 local time. Police, the Russian National Guard, and emergency services quickly arrived at the scene.

The school premises were secured, and entry and exit were temporarily restricted. According to Ural Kilsenbayev, deputy head of the Bashkortostan government, no one was injured as a result of the incident.

The suspected student was detained by law enforcement agencies. Several criminal cases have been opened by investigative authorities regarding this incident.

In particular, investigations are being conducted based on articles related to the negligence of officials. It is worth noting that a similar incident occurred in December in the Odintsovo district of the Moscow region.

In that case, an armed student attacked a Tajik boy, resulting in a tragedy.
