Elon Musk: Cities on the Moon will appear in 10 years

According to Elon Musk's plan, "self-developing" cities could emerge on the Moon within the next 10 years. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Mars, on the other hand, is expected to achieve this goal within several decades. This was reported by The Insider publication.
Elon Musk, founder of SpaceX and billionaire, called lunar projects the company's priority in comments on social media. He emphasized that flights to Mars can only be made once every 26 months because that is when Mars is at its closest point to Earth.
Flights to the Moon, however, can be made once every 10 days, and such a trip lasts two days. Traveling to Mars takes approximately six months.
According to Musk, the initial results of lunar projects will become visible within 10 years, while plans related to Mars will require at least 20 years. At the same time, NASA is preparing to implement a plan to send humans to the Moon for the first time in the last 50 years.
Within the framework of the "Artemis" program, astronauts will land on the Moon and establish long-term living conditions there. Although this launch has been delayed several times, according to the new plan, the project is expected to be carried out in March 2026.
