Man imprisoned for injuring his wife out of jealousy
A citizen living in the Republic of Bashkortostan physically harmed his wife while intoxicated due to jealousy. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This case was reviewed by the Karmaskal interdistrict court. According to court materials, the man got into an argument with his spouse after consuming alcoholic beverages.

During the altercation, under the influence of jealousy, he took a skewer used for preparing kebabs and struck his wife in the chest. After this incident, the suspect left the scene, and the victim survived thanks to prompt medical assistance.

During the trial, the accused did not fully admit his guilt and emphasized that he committed the act only to "scare" his spouse. Taking into account his previous unserved sentence for a prior crime, the court sentenced the man to 7 years and 6 months of imprisonment.

It was determined that he will serve the sentence in a special regime colony.
