Record temperature of the last 125 thousand years on Earth

Scientist Christopher Wolfe reported that the highest temperature in the last 125 thousand years has been recorded on Earth. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
In an interview with The Guardian, he emphasized that climate change is happening faster than expected and global warming could lead to dangerous situations on Earth, even resembling a “hellish climate.” Professor Tim Lenton from the University of Exeter in the United Kingdom also took this issue seriously, stating that even a rise in temperature by a few degrees poses a significant threat to humanity.
According to him, it is not necessary for the Earth to reach a full “greenhouse effect,” as even a 3-degree increase in temperature can lead to severe consequences for societies and human life. According to scientists' calculations, global warming could disrupt the current functioning of the economy and society.
In particular, the “greenhouse Earth” scenario is likely to cause more serious problems than a simple temperature rise. Therefore, experts emphasize the urgent need to take measures to curb climate change.
