Shanghai landslide: no casualties

A large-scale land subsidence occurred in Shanghai, China. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
As a result of the incident, land subsidence was observed over an area approximately 10–20 meters wide. This process happened within a few seconds, causing sections of the road, construction materials, and temporary structures to collapse into the depths.
According to official information, no one was injured as a result of this incident. Drivers and pedestrians in the area managed to move to a safe place in time.
Additionally, workers at the construction site were evacuated urgently. Preliminary information suggests that the land subsidence may have been caused by ongoing metro construction work and previously detected water leakage.
Currently, specialists are investigating the causes of the incident and measures are being taken to strengthen safety precautions.
