The Azerbaijani embassy has been attacked three times

Ilham Aliyev announced in a conversation with journalists during the Munich Security Conference that the Azerbaijani embassy in Kyiv has been attacked three times. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

He was asked about Russia's military actions in Ukraine, including damage to energy facilities belonging to Azerbaijani companies. However, Aliyev did not give a clear answer on this matter.

According to the president, the initial attack could have been considered accidental. For this reason, Baku provided Russia with information about the exact location of the Azerbaijani diplomatic mission in Ukraine.

However, after the subsequent two attacks, Aliyev assessed the situation as a deliberate strike against the Azerbaijani embassy. These events have made the security of diplomatic facilities in Ukraine an even more pressing issue.

For example, in November 2025, Baku officially protested to the Russian government about damage caused to the territory of the Azerbaijani embassy in Kyiv. Now, Aliyev's emphasis on "three times" has given the situation a more serious political dimension.
