Snowfall on roofs in Russia claimed the lives of 9 people

In Russia, 9 people died over the course of a week due to snow and ice falling from roofs. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations' press service informed the TASS agency about this. According to the ministry, unfavorable weather conditions were observed in 32 regions of the country during the past week.
More than 60 incidents related to snow and ice falling from roofs were recorded in 25 regions. In these incidents, 24 people were injured, 9 of whom lost their lives.
Experts advise citizens to be cautious around building roofs and balconies and to avoid walking near places where ice is hanging. Detailed information about these incidents has not yet been disclosed.
Nevertheless, the Ministry of Emergency Situations once again emphasized the necessity of timely roof cleaning and marking hazardous areas.
