Shooting at hockey competition in Rhode Island: 6 dead, injuries
On February 16, a shooting occurred during a hockey competition involving school teams in the city of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, USA. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to police information, three people were killed in the shooting, and three other citizens were seriously injured and hospitalized. Preliminary investigation conclusions suggest that the incident was deliberately planned and may have been caused by a family dispute.

The police have identified a 56-year-old man named Robert Dorgan as a suspect in the case. He was found to be the father of one of the students participating in the competition.

It is reported that the suspect committed suicide at the scene, and he is among the victims. According to witnesses, another armed person tried to stop the attacker during the incident.

Weapons found at the scene have been confiscated. Currently, the police are questioning witnesses, analyzing video recordings, and investigating all details of the incident.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
