Israeli strikes on the Bekaa Valley: 10 dead, 50 injured

Israel conducted air strikes on Lebanon's Bekaa Valley. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to Reuters agency, at least 10 people were killed and more than 50 injured as a result of the air attacks carried out by Israel on the Bekaa Valley located in eastern Lebanon. It was reported that among the dead was a high-ranking official of the Hezbollah organization.

The Israeli Defense Forces emphasized that these strikes targeted Hezbollah's command centers. According to Israel's version, planning of attacks against the Israeli army was being carried out in these areas.

These attacks attracted significant international attention. Reuters noted that the strikes on February 20 were among the largest and deadliest attacks in recent weeks.

This incident further complicated the situation following the peace agreement signed in November 2024. The event increased tensions in the region and intensified conflicts between the parties.
