Trump Accuses Iran of Attack in Minob
US President Donald Trump, in a conversation with journalists aboard Air Force One, blamed Iran for the attack on a girls' school in the city of Minob. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to Trump, Iran is not precise enough in using its weapons and it was they who struck an area inhabited by civilians. However, Trump did not provide evidence to support these accusations.

US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth also supported Trump's view. According to him, the Pentagon is conducting an investigation into the incident, but targeting civilians is typical of Iran.

Nevertheless, the situation remains complicated, as international media and some US official sources are spreading different information. Nearly 180 people died as a result of this tragedy that occurred on February 28, 2025.

Reputable outlets such as CNN and The New York Times report that US military forces conducted an operation in that area and may have mistakenly struck the school. According to NBC News sources, the Trump administration has confirmed to Congress that American troops struck the area where the school in Minob is located.

While the Pentagon states that the investigation is ongoing, the Iranian side continues to blame Washington for the attack.
